At YIT, I played a key role in modernizing Tamka, a user-friendly CMS designed to empower Ynet’s creative content writers.
My contributions included designing intuitive screens and developing new components that enhanced the overall user experience.
This process involved close collaboration with front-end developers, where I navigated technical constraints and worked to integrate innovative, creative solutions seamlessly into the existing system.

My efforts ensured that the CMS not only met the needs of its users but also aligned with the broader goals of improving efficiency and fostering creativity within the content creation process.

Pain points

  • Complex Interface: The overly complex UI caused inefficiencies and frustration.
  • Limited Formatting: Lack of advanced formatting options restricted content creation flexibility.
  • Outdated Components: Unused or outdated components slowed performance and cluttered the CMS.
  • Inconsistent Design System: The lack of a cohesive design system caused inconsistencies across the platform.

What's next?

In the future I would conduct user testing with editors and content managers to gather feedback and refine the CMS based on real-world usage. I would monitor key performance indicators such as engagement and content creation speed to ensure the system aligns with company goals. Based on insights from testing and performance data, I would make iterative improvements, explore new features like AI-driven content suggestions, and enhance mobile optimization, all while keeping an eye on expanding the CMS's capabilities to meet future needs.
